Enjoying a wonderful location commanding stunning sea and mountain views, and displaying artistic flair in its beautifully furnished, traditional interior, this spacious cottage sits just 150 yards from the beach in the little hamlet of Fearnmore. Stylish, warm and welcoming, with a sun lounge providing a delightful spot in which to relax and make the most of the views, it is within walking distance of the tiny harbour, hand-hewn from the rock over a century ago, crumbling a little now but still suitable for boat launching. This glorious corner of Scotland, where Loch Torridon opens into the sea, affords spectacular views across the water to the islands of Raasay, Rona and Skye, whilst the surrounding landscape, rugged and splendid, is home to an abundance of sea birds and other wildlife. Superb walking, supervised canoeing and climbing, and extensive fishing are all available in the area. Applecross (15 miles), the setting for the famous House and Gardens, boasts a heritage centre, two excellent restaurants, a general store and a lovely sandy beach.
