Against a mountain backdrop, Caragh lake (4 miles) is popular for walking and fishing, whilst on the coast sandy beaches start at Cromane (6 miles). The golf at Dooks is a fine links course (5 miles). Killarney, in its lovely lake and mountain setting, is 16 miles, and the Dingle Peninsula is waiting to be explored. Kerry Airport 15 miles.
