Commanding panoramic views of MacGillycuddy's Reeks Ireland's highest peaks from their position on the banks of the River Laune, this small hamlet of well appointed houses and apartments are just five minutes' walk from the centre of bustling Killorglin. Killorglin, a lively town at the gateway to both the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula, is home to a variety of superb restaurants and traditional Irish pubs and boasts a wealth of visitor attractions, including an outdoor education centre based at Caragh Lake, and one of Ireland's oldest street festivals, the Puck Fair (annually, 1012 August). Within 15 minutes' drive is Rossbeigh Beach, arguably the country's most beautiful, a Blue Flag beach with golden sands stretching for 4 miles and offering wonderful watersports and horse trekking. Excellent golf, including Dooks and over twenty courses, superlative angling, cycling on quiet roads and a variety of walking routes are all available locally. The colourful town of Killarney is 12 miles and, nestling at the head of Kenmare Bay, Kenmare town (33 miles) offers seafari cruises round the bay from its pier, whilst those who enjoy 'a flutter' can visit the horse and greyhound racing at Tralee (16 miles).
