Ludlow, a gourmet's paradise and home to an imposing castle and National Hunt racecourse, is just a few miles, and Stokesay Castle, the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, Shrewsbury, Hereford Cathedral, the Ironbridge museums and many charming little border towns, with their fascinating small shops, are just some of the delights within an easy drive.
