With magnificent views of Swaledale in all directions, this pretty and immaculately presented cottage is one of a little row (shown far left) just mile from Gunnerside, a charming village with a dining pub and caf. Surrounded by pastureland, it is in the centre of the natural glories of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and a host of places of interest. Aysgarth Waterfalls, the Bowes Museum, Bolton Castle, Middleham Castle and The Forbidden Corner (a labyrinth of tunnels, chambers and follies sure to delight children and adults alike) are all nearby. Reeth and Askrigg are both 6 miles and the market towns of Leyburn and Hawes are under 12 miles whilst Kendal in the Lake District is about an hour's drive. Pony trekking 5 miles. Shops in Muker, 2 miles.
