Scarborough's golden sands, theatre and lively attractions are 9 miles whilst Bridlington, Filey, Eden Camp and Flamingo Land and the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway in Pickering are all within a half hour's drive. Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay are about 20 miles and the medieval city of York is 40 miles. Pub, restaurant and shop 2 miles.
