There are some fascinating places to visit when you take a break in one of our North Wales and Snowdonia holiday cottages. The historic walled town of Conwy, with its magnificent castle perched high on a hill will transport you back to medieval times, while the town of Holywell has the mysterious St. Winefrides well, one of the seven wonders of Wales and a site of pilgrimage for more than 1400 years. The seaside resort of Llandudno is little changed from its Victorian heyday, and at Llangollen you can marvel at Telfords tall aqueduct. And make sure you pay a visit to the unique village of Portmeirion during your North Wales and Snowdonia cottage holiday. This was the location for cult 60s TV series The Prisoner.
